2 different insurance plans, same provider, they seem to be deeply connected??

Hello! I'm a young adult. Old enough to have a job with good health insurance, but young enough to still be on my parents insurance as well – they don't want to remove me because it apparently costs them nothing for me to stay on & they want me to have extra care options if something happens to me in their state / my former home state. Both insurance plans are by Anthem but one is a PPO and one is a high deductible plan. Let's say the PPO is in US State A where I live, and the high deductible plan is in State B where my parents live. PPO is in my name and I'm the primary insurance holder, I'm a dependent on my parents' plan. My Anthem dashboard lets me access info, virtual cards, and claims for both plans since presumably it recognized me by birthday or SSN or something.

A few months ago, I called the number on the back of my PPO card from State A to inquire about the bill for care I received in State A using the PPO (showed them my ins card, I don't even have a physical card for my parents' plan anymore). However, the Anthem rep who picked up couldn't verify my identity until I gave them my parents' address in State B! My own address in State A didn't work (and I double checked that my address was correct on my insurance a year ago when I moved).

During the call he confirmed that he could see both plans on his end after searching a bit, and he did some further research and hesitantly said that my PPO plan would be considered my primary insurance – he didn't sound too sure. He also couldn't see any further details of the PPO plan and could only help me with info related to my parents' plan that I didn't even use.

I was wondering what implications this connection has. I want to get checked out by a GYN / potentially start birth control but my parents are incredibly traditional and would associate both those things with me sleeping around when it's actually further from the truth. If I received GYN care through my insurance plan, would they receive an EOB even though I'd show my own PPO insurance card since somehow only their address pops up as mine in Anthems system? Would they be able to access my insurance claims if they somehow get linked across both accounts?? I thought moving out and getting my own insurance would be a source of freedom but I feel like I've been bamboozled by both insurance plans somehow being connected.
