Hi all, wasn’t sure what forum to post this in. Hopefully some people have insight here.

My employers insurance is Cigna. They recently made a pretty minor error (worth around $55).

It took me two months, speaking with at least 9 of their reps (that I noted), and probably 6-7 hours of my time to resolve.

Their MO was basically to say “I see the mistake, this will be handled within 10-15 days” Then 15 days later, it’s NOT handled. There’s no way to get ahold of the original rep, and we start from scratch.

A few times I tried the “let me speak to a manager” thing (even cringing as I write this). That results in them telling me I’ll receive a callback from a manager that never happens.

I even resorted to tracking down the email for one of their US based CS managers on LinkedIn, but, no surprise, he didn’t respond to my emails (though I can tell that he’s opened them).

When this happens again (not if but when… if the rest of their company is as incompetent as their CS department, I’m sure there will be other issues like this down the line), is there some more efficient way to deal with Cigna? The normal channels of chat and calling their main number are unbearable.
