Insurance & moving

Tl;dr: 18w pregnant and until now I’ve been paying out of pocket while i try to find somewhere to live in another state. However it’s getting more difficult and I was just told to see the high risk doctor this week for my blood pressure, which will be $1,800 out of pocket for the first visit alone. Not sure what the best option is.

I have insurance, but my employer and insurance are based out of one state, and i have been staying with my SO in another hoping to move here. I work remote so as long as I can keep this job while searching for a new one, we can make ends meet. There is an in office requirement twice a month, which i have managed to either skip or make work til now, but is getting more difficult to travel now as well. However finding a new job is taking longer than I had hoped, and I cannot find anything without taking a massive (about $25k/year) pay cut.

We are hoping to get married soon, & I can get on his insurance that way without losing my current job. But I don’t know if that’s the best option or how long the switching over will take. Should I be trying to use my insurance but out of network? Should I just accept a pay cut to have peace of mind? My current job doesnt know about the pregnancy, I’ve been avoiding telling them because I did not want any excuse for them to let me go over the in office requirement. I doubt they would be willing to work with me on that.
