Howdy there folks! New to this sub but seems like it’s the right place for my question. I had to leave my job in January of 2023 to help take care of my mother back home in Michigan. I had health insurance in Utah where I was working, but lost it when I quit my job. It was a hectic time of life over the past 7 months and so I’ve been uninsured since I left my job in January.

My question is essentially what are my options for getting my wisdom teeth removed? I know open enrollment doesn’t start until November, so does that just mean I either have to wait until then to enroll or pay out of pocket if I need to have the procedure before open enrollment begins. I’m currently living in Indiana with my partner (zip code 46033) if that helps out. Not currently employed but looking for jobs now. I know I can get insurance through an employer but most don’t allow you to get those benefits until you’ve been with them for a while.

Hopefully this is the right place for this! I’m a total noob when it comes to things like this. I’m in my mid 20s and haven’t had much experience with these things. Any help is appreciated! TIA
