Patons Insurance strengthens it North East Taxi customer base

Patons Insurance is continuing to expand its taxi customer base in the North East.

We took over Teesside-based insurance broker ‘SurePlan’ in 2020 and from June this year, we will welcome Newcastle-based Bestford Insurances’ taxi insurance customers, too.

Bestford Insurance, an independent, family-run business that was established in 1981 in Wallsend, will continue to provide Personal and Commercial Insurance Services to Customers (New and Existing) across the region.

Patons, which has offices in Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Middlesbrough and London, will be offering the same bespoke taxi insurance service to these newly acquired customers.

As well as Insurance, Patons offer other products and services for the taxi industry, including Taximeters, CCTV and new vehicle sales, focusing on Electric & Hybrid models from Hyundai & MG.
