Trying to find a PCP (Primary Care Physician) and its just be terrible experience all around.

Cigna wants me to select a PCP first then will place me in an HMO plan that a group plan that the PCP takes. I choose one only to show up to the PCP office notified that they do not take my HMO. Turns out they're terminating their contract with Cigna. I have to go back to square one So I go use Cigna online support to tell them what happened and they say it was uncommon and here is a list of PCP in your area that are in network. I start calling these providers to no success. 60% of the doctors do not have availability til the end of the year (still 8 months left). Those doctors that have availability want me to tell them if i'm in an HMO group they accept before telling me their availability. (COMPLETE OPPOSITE PROCEDURE THAT CIGNA RECOMMENDED)

Now the way I have to get a PCP provider is to

Look on Cigna directory call or use chat support on Cigna call to see what HMO group i would be on for this provider call the provider to see what their availability would be if that works then officially select them as a PCP, then call the PCP office again to official schedule the appointment

What a mess. They say I had to call/chat because my plan renews in a few months and i guess they can't change their database? This is already on top of bad existing service with the chat support, whom I got a person named Hayli both times who didn't provide me with all the information the first chat and then the second time talked down to me for not updating my PCP info and suggested I just keep picking PCPs until one had availability, going back and forth until i found one.

This is a terrible experience with Cigna. Sorry in advance for bad grammer. I'm just so upset with all this
