Do I have to go on Medicaid after loss of income and give up my existing ACA plan?

Hi, I'm self-employed and lost my main (really only) client and thus I haven't had income since January, but I save up for times like this. But I also moved recently and I just found out that I have to go through my entire ACA application just to update my new mailing address, ugh, which I guess means I have to be honest about my new change in or loss of income?

Is it true that I will have to report my new zero income and thus get kicked to Medicaid? I thought I had read here that I can stay on my existing ACA plan, or that it was more important to report increases in income rather than decreases? I'm giving rather than taking from the govt by trying to pay for my existing plan/avoid Medicaid assistance, no?

Still, I do have to update my application to change my address, and I have to be honest on the application, so do I just bite the bullet and let it take me to Medicaid, is that what's best for my current situation? Thanks
