I am newly covered by Kaiser Permanente through a job I took in March. I couldn’t search my in-network doctors on Trinet. Have to do that on Kaiser Permanente’s website. But you can’t log in without a medical record number which is given to you by Kaiser permanente. So I called my health advocate and spoke to a woman who did not know how to spell Andrew. She asks me 10 questions that don’t matter and can’t help me find a doctor. Then she puts me on hold. Comes back and says “It will take 4 business days to locate that doctor.” That was such an incredibly stupid thing to say that I had to hang up on her before I told her something very true in a very rude way

I finally call Kaiser Permanente directly. After talking to one guy and getting transferred to member services, someone even dumber than the first lady I talked to comes on and tells me that a general physical is only covered if I am AT HOME. If I am in Tucson, Arizona I am ONLY covered for emergencies.

I asked her if she knew how stupid that sounded and she had the gaul to say no, she did not.
