Hello, could you help me? I am having difficulty figuring out what I should do to get insurance.

Hello, I hope you're doing well. I can't understand what I'm supposed to do first to get insurance in my situation, so I could really use some help. I'm 31, and live in Tennessee. I don't have a job and have very little income each year. I'm not legally recognized as disabled even though I have multiple neurodevelopmental disabilities (autism, etc.).

My Dad said he is willing to try and help me get insurance again, at least for a little bit, but we don't know how to do that. He's had insurance without having to do anything for a while now since he's retired from the army and was in for a long time. I tried applying on the marketplace during open enrollment, but the website told me I didn't qualify for any savings and just offered me plans starting at like $300-$400+/month.

I had a CT scan at the ER recently for an unrelated issue, and they said they saw nodules on my right lung. It's starting to hurt to laugh or even just breathe hard. I'm scared I might have cancer and my fear, anxiety, and disabilities are making it really difficult to process everything in the Health Insurance 101 sticky on the front page. Could someone please help me get pointed in the right direction?

Thank you for any help you can provide, I really appreciate it as this is really difficult to deal with. Please let me know if you need any other information.

P.S. I couldn't figure out what flair to choose, so please let me know if I chose the wrong one.
