How do I use my insurance for basic basic preventative care? (Noob here)

I want to get basic preventative care done now that I have insurance – a Pap smear, STD tests, general doctor's visit.

In the past, I've always just gone to Planned Parenthood and payed out of pocket. I now have insurance through Cigna, and Planned Parenthood is out of network. Preventative care should be covered, but how do I actually find a provider and schedule an appointment?

The Cigna website has a "Find Care & Costs" section where you can search for providers, and it lists individual doctors. Do I just start calling them up and ask, "Hey, are you taking new patients? Will you give me a physical? Will you give me a pap?" How do I know who to choose? WTF is Family Medicine? ACNP, ANP, ARNP, FNP, NP, RN, PNP, MD? What???

I feel like a totally non functional adult even asking this, but if someone doesn't teach me how to do this part of adulting, I'll probably just end up paying out of pocket yet again.
