I have to move states within 60 days and am starting chemo next week.

Age 28, state: texas, moving to columbus ohio. No income due to illness and fiancé isn’t allowed to work during first year of law school.

Hello all. Today i found out I need to do 6 months of chemo, and currently I have bluecross blueshield of texas. My fiance has a full ride scholarship to a school in Ohio and she will be moving in july.

I can stay here the whole time but affording two rents would require us to take out a loan.

My questions are:

Can i get coverage in two states at a time?

Is it possible to find an oncologist that can resume treatment seamlessly over the phone? Its to my understanding i have to do the whole dance… get a new primary physician… schedule an appointment to get an oncologist referral.. then finally get treated. My oncologist said interrupting the flow of chemo is a huge no no if i want the best chance.

Also any tips on picking coverage would be greatly appreciate. To be honest i just randomly chose the one i have now because i was overwhelmed at the time of needing it.

Thank you so much. Have a great week.
