Need advice for a 25 year old son for health insurance that can’t yet find his place in this world

He just can’t bring himself to keep a normal job, despite successfully finishing college with an economics degree.

I swear I didn’t do anything to make him this way, as his 27-year-old brother has been an engineer at Honda since 2018, is always moving up, is continually receiving more responsibility, and is already outearning me.

Anyway, my younger son needs health insurance. Most recently, he’s been a golf caddy with 1099 earnings, and at most will earn $25k this year. 2022 earnings were less than that.

He’s planning to travel in November from our current area of OH, where winter is coming, to a warm climate, to continue caddying until at least April, 2024. He might go to FL or AZ.

Where I need advice is to find out if there’s some insurance available via Healthcare Marketplace that he could get where he’d have coverage in multiple locations, like OH, AZ, or FL, or perhaps other areas of the US.

He’s 100% healthy and will probably never need to use the insurance, but he needs some kind of coverage to limit his out-of-pocket expense, in case something major happens.

Thanks in advance for any advice!
