Hello Everyone,

I have a dental insurance from guardian which covers only 1500$ max in-network and 1000$ for out of network with most main procedure covered up to 50% upto the max amount.

I recently had an dentlal emergency and went to in-network hospital. I was not pretty satisfied with the doctor suggestions. So I went for a secondary opinion with a well rated doctor who had a different review for the same problem.

I feel more trusted toward the second opinion doctor and he is an out of network for my insurance. So my max for the year is only 1000$. I have some major dental procedure to be done which is costing an insane out of pocket reaching upto 5-6k$( I don't know since, I seem to be having more complications going forward).

When I was browsing through online, it was mentioned a person who already has an dental insurance is eligible to buy a secondary insurance without any waiting time. My current dental provider accept Delta Dental and BCBS.

So now how to get a secondary dental insurance and is it possible to get it with a insurance that would qualify to be in network with a current provider.

Please need some urgent help. Any suggestion are appreciated.

Thanks
