Surgery facility claims to be in-network but doesn’t appear on Anthem BCBS website

I have a major surgery next week. I have Anthem BCBS PPO through wife's employer . My surgeon is in network and went through the Pre-Auth process. The facility says they are in network however when I use their address and NPI I cannot track them on Anthem's in-network Provider lookup page. I called Anthem and spoke to two different agents. First agent simply looked them up, couldn't find the facility and concluded that they are out of network. Next agent said that it's likely that since the facility is in TX , that they bill using BCBS of Texas. They called BCBS of Texas and told me that facility should be in network. It still doesn't make any sense to me why an in-network provider would not appear as in-network on Anthem's website. Is there any additional due diligence I should do? Is Anthem the same as BCBS? Does it make sense that they submit to their local BCBS for billing and not directly to Anthem? I just don't want this to end up being an out of network expense.
