Hi everyone, I had a miscarriage last month and had an emergency D&C plus exploratory at an in network location. Everything through aenta seemed to be running smoothly and then I got a weird text from "Singleton Associates" claiming I owed them 1660 bucks with a link to pay. Seemed shady, so I ignored it for a week until I got another text. I clicked the link and it just took me to a blank page that didn't have my name or info listed. Just "You 1660. Pay now." With the credit card info open to fill in. So I called aenta, they were super fast about it, told me not to pay them squat, and they called these people on my behalf. They apparently represented the ultrasound tech within the in-network hospital I was at for the D&C. Aenta told me they'd handle it, and I got an email yesterday telling me I had a new claim. I just looked at it today, and it's saying aenta denied it (I'm assuming it's because it's out of network), but that I'm not responsible for it. The claim is being sent to "IPA/PHO"?

I'm not sure what that means. Surely I'm still responsible for the bill? Can someone give me some insight? Thank you
