Where to buy non-ACA and non-short term insurance for individuals?

I'm in a unique position and need help finding insurance options.

Background…I'm self employed and live in Wisconsin but am now the primary caregiver for my father in Texas. I still technically live and work in Wi and don't intend on staying in or moving to Tx unless I absolutely have to for insurance purposes. Since recently discovering that ACA plans do not provide coverage out of state, I replaced my ACA plan with a short term and gap plan in the event I need emergency care here.

My question for you all… what are my options for a decent insurance plan that has out of state networks? I would like to keep my home address in WI, while also being able to access quality care here in Tx along with other states in the future as I plan on travelling for 6 months of so after my father passes. Every company I have called so far tries to put me back on the ACA or tries to sell me more short term plans and nobody can seem to give me any referrals or recommendations.

I'll also mention that while I don't anticipate needed a ton of health care, there are some ongoing issues I would like to address with a primary care physician (mine can't do remote visits when I'm out of state), including a recommended colonoscopy, and starting some physical therapy for an exercise related injury.

So far the only solutions I have come up with are to move to TX on paper till my dad passes, or to restructure my consulting business so I'm an employee on payroll, but both will be a huge hassle and quiet expensive based on what I've learned.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
