2025 Chevrolet Camaro SUV

Overview

General Motors is reportedly readying an SUV version of its Camaro muscle car, and we expect it to reach production in the next few years. This comes on the heels of a report that the company will come out with a Corvette SUV. We don’t know much about the Camaro SUV just yet, but we believe the new crossover will ride on GM’s Ultium battery-electric platform, which should satisfy EV fans although it may infuriate some muscle-car purists. GM is reportedly also expected to expand the Corvette nameplate into a Chevrolet subbrand, which will lead to more Camaro body styles, possibly including a sedan and an electric sports car. In a move similar to the positioning of the current Corvette and Camaro sports cars, we expect the Camaro SUV to be offered as a more affordable alternative to the Corvette SUV.

What’s New for 2025?

The Camaro SUV will be an entirely new product, likely one of the 30 models that GM has said it plans to roll out by 2025. As such, we expect it to enter the market for the 2025 model year and carry on the essence of the iconic Camaro coupe, which will likely reach its conclusion after the 2024 model year.

Pricing and Which One to Buy

2LT

3LT

The electric Camaro SUV models are still far from production, and we probably won’t know more about it until it’s been confirmed. That said, we expect it to carry a premium over the current gasoline-powered models given its increased functionality and potential performance capability.
