Show Us Your Best Local Car Show
A lot of car shows feature what I would call “dad cars” like NUMBERS MATCHING NO TIRE KICKERS Chevy Chevelles, first generation Mustangs and other American classics. There’s nothing wrong with those cars but they do get stale after seeing every other Mustang labeled “Rare and one of a kind.”
Sometimes you come across a car show that shows a whole cavalcade of automotive characters. My local Wegmans grocery store hosts a car show in their parking lot during the summer and it’s actually pretty good. That’s the only car show where I saw an actual Lamborghini Countach and 1970 Chrysler New Yorker park next to each other.
Speaking of car shows, Jalopnik is having one tomorrow on November 26th in New Jersey and you should come! It’s all for charity and it’ll be a great time. My Camry will be there but don’t let that deter you. My LeBaron is resting comfortably surrounded by loved ones.
