I will try to keep this short. The company my husband works for did open enrollment for insurance the entire month of April. I joined his insurance because his company decided they are going to cover insurance financially 100%. He also put me on his Aflac hospital indemnity insurance and took out a whole life insurance policy against me (no idea which kind). I don’t know when in April it went into effect. I’ve been trying to get him to get the paperwork but he hasn’t been able to yet. I should add I didn’t have Aflac or life insurance before now although it is the same health insurance as I was previously on.

Here is the issue though. I recently went to the gynecologist and she’s says the bruise on my breast that hasn’t gone away looks like inflammatory breast cancer. I don’t know anything about insurance and am wondering if I’m screwed because the policies may have only gone into effect a week ago.

I’m looking for any advice or help at all.
