EP Wealth Advisors President Ryan Parker Becomes CEO

Ryan Parker, EP Wealth Advisors president, is shifting to CEO, replacing Patrick Goshtigian, who will become the independent registered investment advisor’s executive chairman on July 1.

Parker joined EP Wealth in mid-2021 and became president in early 2022. Previously, He was president and CEO of wealth management for Citizens Financial Group and CEO of Edelman Financial Services.

Goshtigian has been the RIA’s CEO since 2011, overseeing growth in its assets under management, geography, total team members and “virtually every other metric,” the firm said Thursday in a statement.

The fee-only RIA, based in Torrance, California, managed over $18.7 billion in assets as of April 30, it said. EP has more than 30 offices in 11 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah and Washington.

As executive chairman, Goshtigian will “continue active participation across key leadership teams” at the company and be based in EP’s Torrance headquarters, according to the firm.
