I have my blood test coming up for life insurance and I’ve recently used nicotine, what are the ramifications?

I have a blood test coming up in 8 days and I occasionally chew nicotine pouches (for example zyns). It’s not super frequent, maybe once or twice a week, just depends on who I’m working and what we’re doing really. My test is in 8 days and today (not thinking about it), I put a few pouches in. Once I remembered about the test I took them right out.

I’ve read online that even a single nicotine use can stay in your system for 7-10 days, not nicotine, but what it breaks down to cotinine.

Is there anything I can do to get this out of my blood quicker? They mention “start to drop to normal levels” but does that mean still detectable? Are they looking for trace amounts? Is it a certain level they look at?

I have no clue on any of the specifics but don’t want them denying me or getting charged an astronomical amount as a tobacco user when it’s strictly random/not frequent.

Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks so much!
