Run away from American Income Life Insurance

I should've already run away the second the agent pushed me to add some rider I didn't need as I already have it (it was not a huge amount, but I have, and it is reasonable for my current way of living).

I tried to cancel it 4 months in because my agent told me that he would reduce my policy once everything was set up, but he didn't.

Finally, I decided to cancel it after about 8 months in as I acquired a better policy and the policy given to me was garbage and expensive.

The agent I was talking to was unreachable. I tried calling him several times until he blocked me (I assumed because the ringtone was different). I called the customer service and waited for about 10-15 minutes (not too bad) . They passed me to the cancellation department. They asked me a bunch of questions, told them my reason. The instruction to cancel was to wait for the email with the form. They will send a document, they said. A week came, nothing. I emailed the customer support nothing. Called the support again after a week, and waited for them to send the document while on call.

I received the email. Sent the document. Done.

That is after a month, again I was charged. I didn't get the chance to call them because life but I sent an email. It turns out I have 2 more active policies. Which was never explained to me. nor was it mentioned to me when I was talking to several customer services. I only received one mail from them about the one policy I initially opened and nothing else.

I just sent the cancellation form again. hopefully that was it. I never want to have any connection with them.
