Catalytic Risk Managers appoints new VP of builders' risk

Catalytic Risk Managers & Insurance Agency has announced that it has hired Adriel Enriquez (pictured) to serve as senior underwriter and vice president of its builders’ risk division.

As VP of builders’ risk, Enriquez will work to provide all risk coverage for builder’s risk projects on a non-admitted basis. Catalytic Risk Managers’ builders’ risk program includes coverage for wood frame, civil (general infrastructure), energy (oil, gas, renewable); and construction all risk.

Enriquez has more than 10 years of experience in underwriting, having most recently served as a senior underwriter for Ironshore’s builders’ risk group. In that role, he chiefly focused on wood frame and high value home construction. Enriquez also served as an industry lead underwriter in the emerging market on mass timber and cross laminated timber (CLT) construction projects.

He received his bachelor’s degree from Florida International University.

“We are thrilled to have Adriel join our team,” said Catalytic Risk Managers builders risk president Kaycie Cook. “As construction demands continue to grow throughout the United States, we know the importance of providing ground-up AOP and Natural Cat Builders Risk Coverage to protect these construction projects.”

Cook added that Enriquez’s experience in underwriting will allow Catalytic to continue to grow out its builders’ risk program and meet the demands of the construction industry.

Catalytic Risk Managers is a subsidiary of DUAL North America, which itself is a regional underwriting subsidiary of Howden Group.
