Insurance-linked securities (ILS) investment fund manager and collateralised reinsurance underwriter Elementum Advisors, LLC, has announced five promotions of current employees to Partner at the firm, and the addition of another leader to its Executive Committee.

All of the five new Partners already hold leadership roles in a range of functional areas within the Elementum Advisors ILS fund management business.

The newly announced Partners are:

Jeff Davis – Partner and Portfolio Manager, Investments.
Andrew Lauer – Partner, Global Head of Operations.
Adam Maloney – Partner, Head of Business Development and Investor Relations.
David Panichelli – Partner, Fund Controller,
Lynette Walter – Partner, Chief Legal Officer and CCO,

“We are thrilled to name these new Partners,” John DeCaro, Founding Partner and Senior Portfolio Manager at Elementum explained. “These promotions are indicative of Elementum’s commitment to internal advancement, as well as a hallmark of our continued dedication to strengthening our firm and endeavoring to be the global ILS partner of choice.”

In addition to the promotion to Partner, Lynette Walter has also been named to Elementum’s Executive Committee as its fifth member.

As well as the Executive Committee responsibilities, Walter will continue on as CCO and head of Elementum’s Legal and Compliance team, overseeing its legal needs across the manager and its managed ILS portfolios, as well as administering its compliance program.

“These appointments underscore our commitments to building a sustainable organization and cultivating the next generation of leaders,” Tony Rettino, Founding Partner and Senior Portfolio Manager commented.

“Lynette’s counsel has been invaluable to the firm for many years and her elevation to the Executive Committee will further strengthen the firm’s governance and ability to respond to changing market conditions.”
