Insurance Business Australia reveals Elite Women in insurance for 2022

Insurance Business has finalised its list of some of the best and most inspiring female insurance professionals in Australia for 2022 – an intelligent and diverse group of professionals who have pulled more women up with them when they have taken their hands on the ladder of success.

Insurance Business Australia (IB) sought this year’s elite women in the Australian insurance industry by inviting insurance professionals across the country to nominate exceptional female leaders for its  annual list. Nominees had to be working in a role that related to, interacted with, or in some way impacted the general insurance industry. They should also have demonstrated a clear passion for insurance.

The IB team asked the nominators to describe their nominee’s outstanding professional achievements over the past 12 months, their contributions to diversity and inclusion in the industry, and how they have given back through volunteer roles and charity work. The team also considered recommendations from managers and senior industry professionals. After reviewing all nominations, the IB team narrowed the list to the final 50 elite women.

Among the 50 winners this year are:

Angela Stevens – national claims manager, GT Insurance
Elizabeth Williams – head of people and culture, HDI Global SE, Australia
Jane Martin – authorised representative director and state managing director (Victoria), Oracle Group (Australia)
