NTI has revealed Ian Fuller, ticket holder 9770, won the Expedition Truck and motorhome charity raffle at the NTI Supercar round in Townsville on the weekend.

The raffle was drawn at 1pm in Reid Park yesterday, having raised $395,800 for the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) research cause, the highest of any of the five trucks gifted by NTI. The raffle brings funds raised to more than $1 million.

Funds go to the MND and Me Foundation for research at The University of Queensland in honour of former NTI CEO Wayne Patterson, who was diagnosed with the condition in 2015 and died three years later.

“A massive congratulations to the winner of our Expedition Truck. We are absolutely thrilled with the support shown for this incredible cause,” NTI said.

“Sunday saw us draw the MND Expedition Truck raffle with the MND and Me Foundation – a cause close to our hearts at NTI that saw an amazing level of support this year. A giant thank you to the Townsville community, Supercars and everyone involved in making the weekend what it was.”

This year’s Expedition Truck prize is valued at $265,000 and includes a truck that can seat seven plus an attached motorhome for five. The “luxury on wheels” motorhome has a queen-sized bed, kitchenette, air conditioning, indoor and outdoor showers, LED lighting and TV, solar panels, water storage systems, with four electric legs for easy set up.

The Isuzu 4×4 crew cab can be used as a working truck as the 3.5m motorhome slides on and off the back.
