PetSure promotes GapOnly with awareness campaign

26 September 2022

Hollard-owned PetSure’s award-winning on-the-spot in-clinic claiming platform GapOnly has launched a promotional campaign to raise awareness under the leadership of new Chief Marketing Officer Jenny Williams.

GapOnly allows customers to only pay the gap between the vet bill and what their insurance policy covers. It won a Canstar Innovation Excellence Award in April.

PetSure says as the proposition is a relatively new concept in pet insurance, many consumers are not aware they have access to the service.

The new ‘Gap it and Go’ campaign will run for three months, driving awareness of the GapOnly service and encouraging pet owners to request this new way of processing their claim when next at the vet.

“There’s a huge job to be done in this growing category, with only 6% of Australians holding pet insurance,” said Ms Williams, who took the role in March and previously held leadership positions at Comparethemarket.com.au and HCF Australia.

“PetSure is on a mission to … make sure that pet parents understand their options when it comes to insurance.”
