Removal of AXA First and AXA Residential Let – what you need to know

We’re making some changes

As part of our AXA Retail Intermediary Home Strategy, an in-depth review was conducted of our AXA Home products. This was to help simplify our products, whilst still ensuring they provide the right cover for customers. Following the review, we’ve decided that we’ll no longer offer, AXA First and AXA Residential Let policies, with a start or renewal date from 1st September.

We know you’re likely to have questions off the back of this change, so we’ve listed some key information below:

What does this mean?

This means we’ll no longer offer the product to existing, and new policyholders with a policy start date or renewal date on or after the 1st September. In the rare event that you can’t obtain alternative insurance for your customers currently on AXA First and AXA Residential Let, then please contact us directly and we’ll try to accommodate the business directly.

New Business:
For policies with a start date on or after the 1st September 2023, the AXA First and AXA Residential Let products will no longer be available to sell and will not show on the panel.

Renewals:
We will not be able to offer renewal invites on these products. This means you’ll start to receive renewal decline letters for policies with renewal dates on or after the 1st September. We have a range of other products which are suitable for your customers, see below for further details. So if you feel one is right for them, and we’re able to provide you with this product, then please follow your standard process when quoting under the new cover.

Our AXA products are full of great features and benefits, so you may be able to continue to offer cover to your customers – we’ll more than likely have another personal lines product that will be suitable for them.
