In her new role, she will focus on expanding the global training program’s offerings in Australia and advancing learning innovation and capability for all of Sedgwick’s business lines.

Tracey Harris, Sedgwick chief operating officer in Australia, said the new hire brings valuable insight and experience to the Australian team and has a track record with proven success in developing and growing talent.

“Her initiatives around strategic business partnering and operational enablement offer a collaborative, contemporary perspective, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the Sedgwick family,” Harris added.

Sedgwick University is part of the company’s global training strategy to provide state-of-the-art college training courses to develop a diverse talent force in the claims industry. Its Australian division offers new learning methodologies to prepare a qualified, skilled, and scalable workforce to meet the challenges of the evolving industry landscape in the country.

The courses in Australia aim to support claims, risk, and benefits professionals to develop and shape current and future adjusters, examiners, appraisers, forensic engineers, inspectors, case managers, client service directors, risk control professionals, and many other specialists.

Moreover, they complement the vital training and accreditation services provided by industry bodies, such as the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA), Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF), and Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF).
