Steadfast boss Robert Kelly awarded in Queen's Birthday Honours


Steadfast Group (Steadfast) managing director and chief executive officer (CEO) Robert Kelly has received the prestigious award of Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the Queen’s Birthday 2022 Honours List.

The broker network revealed that Kelly was named in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for his significant services to the insurance industry and the community.

Steadfast chairman Frank O’Halloran, AM, congratulated Kelly for the recognition: “Robert Kelly AM has made a very significant contribution to the Australian insurance industry and generously supported the community in many areas over a very long period.”

Kelly co-founded Steadfast in 1996 to provide insurance-related quality advice and service, leading the company to become the largest general insurance broker network and underwriting agency group in Australia and New Zealand and an ASX 200 listed company.

Over the years, Kelly has been ranked as one of the most influential people in the insurance industry and is a Fellow of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA). He has also received awards throughout his career, including the Lex McKeown Trophy and ACORD Rainmaker Award.
