Steadfast Risk Group rebrands risk management service

As businesses continue to adapt to a new way of working and changes in work, health, and safety requirements due to COVID-19, the rebranded division aims to help brokers provide greater value to their clients by helping them understand how to operate successfully and maintain longevity, including investing in robust work, health, and safety practices.

As part of the rebranding, SWR will be led by managing director and CEO Jason Thompson, who has more than three decades of National Workers Compensation and general insurance broking experience. Moving forward, he will use his extensive knowledge of workplace risk and be responsible for delivering the team’s collective expertise to clients.

SWR complements Steadfast Risk Group’s services and is composed of three key components:

Infrastructure support, such as an injury hotline with access to 2,500 GPs nationally, telemedicine and expedited imaging services, such as MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound;
Workplace risk assessment of performance reporting, including a premium, claims, and performance analysis over five years; and
Ongoing specialty consulting services, such as a national legal hotline in workers’ compensation and work, health, and safety and industrial relations and 24/7 mental health assistance.

“The impact of COVID on the work, health, and safety aspects of Australian businesses has presented many challenges for clients,” said Steadfast managing director and CEO Robert Kelly, expecting the SWR offering to play a key role in expanding the depth and breadth of workplace risks the group provides its clients during and post-COVID-19 pandemic.
