Twelve Capital announces new board appointments

Twelve Capital, the Zurich-headquartered catastrophe bond, insurance-linked securities (ILS) and reinsurance linked investment fund manager, has announced a number of new board appointments to bring additional senior experience to the company.

Following the transaction earlier this year that saw one of Switzerland’s cantonal banks, Graubündner Kantonalbank (GKB), taking a 30% stake in Twelve Capital, the company has now announced the appointment of Martina Müller-Kamp, a member of the Executive Board of GKB, to its holding company board.

The Board of Director at the holding company level is now composed of Urs Ramseier (Executive Chairman), Christoph Bürer (Executive Vice-Chairman) and Martina Müller-Kamp (Member).

Müller-Kamp is Head of the Market Services business unit and previously held positions in Analysis and Asset Management at VP Bank in Vaduz and Bankhaus Lampe in Düsseldorf.

Müller-Kamp explained, “I am looking forward to this new challenge and to contributing my knowledge at a strategic level.”

Twelve Capital AG, the investment manager entity within the Group, has also announced board additions.

Caroline Clemetson and Andreas Knörzer have been appointed as members of its Board of Directors, after which the Board now includes Christoph Bürer (Executive Chairman), Caroline Clemetson (Vice-Chair) and Andreas Knörzer (Member).

These appointments have been approved by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).

Caroline Clemetson is expereinced in investment management and finance law, working as a partner at Schellenberg Wittmer AG, Attorneys at Law and is a member of that firm’s Executive Committee. Previously, she was Head of Investment Products and Distribution at FINMA.

Andreas Knörzer is an expert in the field of sustainable asset management and ESG. The managing owner of Knörzer Consulting, a company specialising in sustainability consulting for finance and business, prior to its founding, he held senior positions in asset management at banks with a focus on portfolio management and sustainability analysis.

Urs Ramseier, Executive Chairman of Twelve Capital Holding AG commented on the new additions, “I warmly welcome Martina, Caroline and Andreas and look forward to our collaboration.
