Marketplace thinks I’m eligible for medicaid but I’m not

Hello. My family is my husband and I. I am pregnant and due in January. I have asked South Carolina medicaid if we are considered a family of 2 or 3 and they said we are a family of 2.

We do not make under the income threshold for a family of 2 for pregnancy medicaid, but we make under the threshold for a family of 3.

The marketplace seems to think I'm eligible for medicaid, which I'm not. So it is saying I am not eligible for subsidies. I need insurance and can't afford a full price plan.

I can't twiddle my thumbs and wait for medicaid to deny me (which they will), and then wait until the next month for insurance to start seeing as how I wouldn't likely have insurance for January when I'm due to give birth.

I can't seem to find the disconnect here on why they think I am eligible for medicaid when we make almost 10,000 more than the cut off. I don't know what to do either.
