Need help understanding insurances

Hello everyone I’m so confused on the topic of insurance so I hope someone can dumb it down/explain to me and answer my questions. First, I don’t think I ever had insurance for the past 5 years, my last doctor appointments have always been out of pocket pay and during that time maybe only visited 2-3 times, I don’t go often. Now that I DO have insurance, I really want to take care of myself. I’ve been struggling with weight and have been diagnosed with PCOS in the past. My current insurance is with covered California LA care hmo silver 87, but I’m not sure if I should upgrade for better services. It’s cheap, I barely ever go for visits, but I’m not sure if it will get me to where I need to be, I don’t want to break the bank. To get to the point, I’ve been insurance shopping and noticed a few new options at $0 monthly with co-payments of $60. These insurances caught my attention:

Health Net Bronze 60 Ambetter PPO

Anthem Blue Cross Silver 87 HMO

Should I stay with my current insurance or upgrade? My current insurance is $2/m with $15 copay. I also heard PPO is better than HMO because you can see more doctors. My main concern is being able to get weight help. Please educate me!
