Self employed, private Healthcare options are rough…

My wife and I work at our family owned restaurant (we’re in transition to take over completely from her father over the next 5 years) with only about 22 employees, but our options for private health insurance are absolutely terrible. We don’t have a health care plan with the business as it’s so expensive, so like most people in the restaurant industry we’re self pay through an individual insurance plan that costs roughly 300 each a month. We live in North Georgia and I was just shooting this shot in the dark to see if anyone had a resource we could look into or to just point us in the right direction.

The main issue is that the health insurance covers basically nothing, like a 12,000 dollar deductible, and my wife just found out she’s hypoglycemic (with pcos) and the only meds that help her with her issues seem to be ozempic, which isn’t covered because she’s not diabetic. We’re at a loss, seeing 600 dollars a month go to waste and us still having to pay 2 to 400 dollars per doctor visit. Edit: combined annual income is roughly 110,000, we’re 38 and 25, zip 30114
