Which health insurance plan should I get?

About me: 29 year old male living in New Jersey, USA. Healthy.

Currently unemployed. Targeting to get a job by end of this year, when I hope to get an insurance plan through my future employer. Until then, I’m worried that being uninsured will make me vulnerable to big incidents, like I get into a car crash with $100k out of pocket hospital bill.

Otherwise, my only upcoming planned appointments are a dermatology checkup (~$300 out of pocket) and facial moles removal (probably by plastic surgeon and isn’t covered by insurance). So I don’t think it’s worth it to pay more for a low deductible plan since I’ll barely scrape the deductible.

I will also travel soon starting in September. Planning to be in New York, Nevada, and Hawaii, each under a week. However I’m planning to also be in Philippines for a month and Singapore under a week. I looked at some of the plans, they don’t cover outside of US – for example Horizon OMNIA Gold lists “Most coverage provided outside the
United States.” under Excluded. So I’ll probably get travel insurance like https://safetywing.com/nomad-insurance/. Then I’ll actually only get to use the US insurance in August and November if I’m still unemployed then. Sounds like a hassle to get the insurance for such short duration but that’s probably me just being lazy.

Healthcare.gov redirected me to https://nj.gov/getcoverednj/ for NJ. It shows these plans: https://imgur.com/a/eE5Kshh

I’d appreciate any recommendations and reasoning for which plan I should get, if any. Thank you!
