Insurtech Australia adds five members and partners, three directors

Expande and FRISS have become members of Insurtech Australia (IA), while SureInsure, Silver Wolf Projects, and Geoscape have signed up as IA partners.  

IA also added three new Directors: Curium CEO and Co-Founder Tetiana George, upcover CEO and Co-Founder Skye Theodorou and Hollard CIO Jamie Smith.  

Evari CEO and Founder Daniel Fogarty and QBE Ventures CEO James Orchard were reappointed, while Vanessa Dobson stood down as director but continues as company secretary. Eoghan Trehy departed as chair and Aurora Voss as director after serving a maximum three years.  

Brisbane-based Expande provides data for in-depth analysis of Product Disclosure Statements in order to understand, compare and match the right insurance policy.   

Utrecht-based FRISS counts Allianz, Aon and Mapfre among its customers and helps insurers manage fraud using advanced technology. 

Brisbane-based SureInsure is a new brokerage and member of Steadfast Group that is looking for SaaS & PaaS partners to offer a digitalised portal and insurance products.   

Sydney-based Silver Wolf Projects offers insurers its solution to building issues that “resolves and not complicates the claim process”.  

Canberra-based Geoscape Australia has mapped all buildings and land cover across Australia using satellite imagery and gives organisations access to advanced property data.
